Newsbank:Link to Democrat & Chronicle: Electronic index to local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers.The D&C is indexed with full text back to 1999. Rochester History:RochesterHistory is a journal that covers the history of Rochester and western New York. All articles are available on-line -from 1939 to the present.
Rochester Images: The Rochester Images database includes historical and contemporary pictures, maps and manuscripts from Rochester and Monroe County. MCLS Local History Pathfinders: Pathfinders to topics in local history created by Rochester Public Library librarians.

**Local History Room** at the Penfield Public Library. The Local History Room is located inside the Penfield Public Library at the Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Rd., Penfield. The room is open Monday 12:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm, Tuesday 10:00 am-12:00 pm & 12:30-4:30 pm, and Wednesdays 10:00 am-12:00 pm & 12:30-4:30 pm. Town Historian Kathy Kanauer oversees this room.
